How did you come up with your (hobby) business name?

I know most of us have Facebook/Instagram profiles specifically for our hobby businesses, so I'm curious how you guys came up with the name you used? I thought it would be fun to share. Most of you know that I've had a few over the years... ATL Herps Regal Rhacs Charming Chewies Modern...

Live planted tanks- How do you do YOUR plants?

I am now a few months into my (re)planted tanks with extra soil and pothos. I have to say that this combination has worked really well for me - the plants have grown out nicely, but not overwhelmingly so. The extra soil - now about 4-5" on the bottom, plus the plants - have gone a long way in...

What fruit diet are you currently feeding your chahoua?

For the first time over the weekend, I fed the Pangea Fruit Mix with some supplemented Ca... WOW! I didn't think this stuff would have THAT much of a different feeding response compared to the other Pangea varieties, but I was wrong. I fed crickets the night before, so I wasn't expecting a big...

Breeding for size - 70g and above?

Hi All, Over the years, I've had a handful of PI chahoua who have crossed the 75g mark, and another few who have been over 85g or so. Unfortunately, I've never intentionally bred chahoua for size but the idea is crossing my mind for 2020 or 2021 because I have a female who just checked in at...

    Honey - Yes or No?

I've toyed with adding honey to my homemade diet when I offer it, and I get a fairly mixed response. However, when I offer it to the geckos raw (like off a spoon), they seem to go crazy for it. Has anyone else tried offering honey in some form? What was the outcome?

What fruit diet are you currently feeding your chahoua?

I've used the Naked mango juice also, and they definitely seem to like it. You add that into the Pangea Fig and Insects?

    Live Feeder Gecko Diet Smoothie?

In my experience, the honey does tend to make the mixture a little more... gelatinous. But in terms of mixing in live feeders, I haven't put in LIVE crickets, but I have used cricket powder and I have used the version of Pangea that has insects in it. Which insects are you using?

    Chahoua noises/talking.

My pairs are the most vocal in the night during breeding season... they can be quite loud. There are other times where it seems like they'll squabble or disagree, and sometimes the sounds can be a little shocking for house guests who aren't familiar!

    First Chahoua - regrown tail?

Hello, and welcome!! I would agree, that one definitely seems to have a regrown tail. Nice gecko though, so congrats on the new addition!
