    Egg incubation time

Quite an interesting thought however my girls almost always have their eggs stuck together when I find them so weighing individual eggs is difficult for me.

Eurydactylodes Agricolae vs. Vieillardi in Photos

I’ve been lucky enough to see them at Tinley when he brought a few in October. Both species are hard to come by and I thought the symmetricus was just about the coolest thing I had seen at the show in quite some time. And Jon is such a nice and smart guy, makes me glad to know my agricolae are...

    Scammer Alert!

I wanted to give you all a heads up as we seem to have a scammer who is hitting breeders up on expensive animals. Earlier this week Tikis Geckos was hit with a 2k loss, 4K total. Keith Wright placed an order on their website for a Lilly white crested gecko. Gecko was shipped out and Keith did a...

    Feeding response with roaches?

I raise our chahouas on dubia but I have found that at 20g their interest drops. My adults will eat them but not with as much vigor as they do crickets. So from hatching to around 20g they get dubia only, then after that they tend to switch over to crickets mostly with dubias supplemented in...

    What Caging Do You Use?

Depends on the animals age, and if they are paired. All of my pairs are kept in exoterras right now. Likely in the future I will switch over to customs made by DW as they are much lighter. All unpaired animals are kept in tubs. The 3 unpaired adults still have access to UVB in their tubs...

    Gecko Symposium @Tinley October

We have been asking for years for a gecko specific symposium at Tinley. Sure they get occasional speakers at the show but they tend to cover more generic species. This symposium will have 4 speakers. If you’re going to Tinley I highly recommend it. If it gets a good turn out hopefully they can...

    What's your non-gecko job?

I work for a wastewater treatment plant in the lab as a tech/chemist. I know sounds gross, but my city’s water goes into Lake Erie. But my research in school was focused on nutrient loading into Lake Erie via CAFO’s. I studied poop going into the lake basically. I found my calling lol

What fruit diet are you currently feeding your chahoua?

I make up my own mix, and also use Pangea. I offer both at the same time. I find there are some days they prefer the homemade mix, and other days they prefer the Pangea.
