How many eggs do your female Chahoua lay each season?

In a perfect world for me, 8 eggs per female. Four clutches of two eggs, spaced roughly 60 days apart.

In a "meh" season, three clutches in the same sequence as above, but never getting the fourth.

In a crappy season, two or NO clutches.

I'd say that I have some females who are just better and more consistent layers season to season, and some who are worse. It's a frustrating reality. Some females who are good producers will definitely have the occasional bad season though.

Daisy is a good example for me. She had 2-3 great seasons in a row... then 2 years where she produced barely anything. This year, we seem to finally be back on track.

I have one female who is a champ and plugs out 4 clutches a season, another who is good for 3 clutches, but usually one of those has an infertile egg. The last she is new as of last year and she only gave me 2, so far this season she has given me 2 (one infertile). The last was paired after her first clutch and its her first season with me, so time will tell.
