Thought I would post this for you guys in case none of you have purposely set out to read scientific papers on these guys (not a whole lot of them either!). This one explains some physical characteristics, tail regeneration, and distribution. It's not terribly long, but it's really interesting.

Really a fantastic article!

I have the honor to text with Mr.Bauer periodically and it s really amazing how Mniarogekko sp. Have been such cryptic/misterious/intricate genus to study in years.

I think that an important part of this , is to not confuse the few , but specific terms meaning that we normally use to identificate "localities".

In the hobby is really common to use some terminology by a non scientific knowledge.
This article makes black on white some evidences that today most people do not consider.
