Female eating dud eggs

Caught one of my females who had picked up one of her dud eggs and brought it up to the top of the vivarium and appeared to be eating it!
Just wondered if anyone had seen this before

I saw that you posted this on FB and I thought it was so crazy. I've never seen or heard of anything like this before, but I'd love to get the opinions and thoughts of others.

With how taxing egg production and laying is on their bodies, eating duds makes a lot of sense IMO.
