I think Tony Gross produces some really stunning hybrids successfully. Me personally? I don’t want to risk one of my cresteds being eaten/killed/injured for the sake of the pet market. I really like my collection the way it is! 😆

As previously mentioned, I do offer Pangea breeding formula every 3rd day; also offer LL chewie fettuccine which also has higher calcium. The rotation of food I offer is breeding formula, then a fruit formula, then chewie fettuccini, then Pangea bugs mixed with BPZ on an every other day basis...

I candled them and definitely saw the fertile “Cheerio”. I am currently using zoomed repti calcium with d3 (powder).l, but am considering switching to the liquid calcium and adding that to their food instead of freely offering the calcium dish. I don’t want to over do it though.

Finally got my PVC enclosures in today. I set up Eve first. Will add lights/UVB tomorrow. She seems to appreciate her new digs 🥰

Yay! I have MLs here. I have found them just as beautiful in color and pattern as PI. It is kind of difficult to find other breeders who work with ML. Could we pin a post with people who actively work with MLs?! Some pics of my crew.

My female, Eve, is very enclosure aggressive. I don’t even attempt to hold her unless she is already sitting on her globe or a branch that I can take out, and then allow her to climb onto me at her own will. Once she’s out, she’s fine.

My main hobby aside from geckos, is wild foraging. I am a board member of the Mycological Association of Washington DC (MAWDC), and I spend about 98% of my free time in the woods photographing and identifying fungi.

I have mine in tubs temporarily, as I had ordered all new custom PVC enclosures. I finally got the email they’re getting shipped out next week. I’ll be happy to be moving them out of the tubs and get their UVB set up properly.
